KONG

My friend said that I should buy KONG toys for my puppy when I get him, these are the toys that dispense treats when they play with them, thoughts?

I've seen these but haven't bought one yet. I've had one in my hand a couple of times in petsmart!

I got Em a Kong a while back after recommedations from another forum, she loves it keeps her happy/quiet for ages, but she took it outside afew days ago and we have search everywhere and still not found it, she's not a digger so it isn't buried. Looks like we will have to get her a new one.

Tika just buries hers under a cushion & lies on top of it giving out pathetic little growls as if im the big hard dog, Meg has it sussed she squeezes her one then tosses it up in the air so it lands with a good bump & goodies fall out, I learned the hard way not to leave them with kongs at night, Growling & bump bump bump in the night doesn't help sleeping :D

Come on over to my house and even if the dogs are put up, you can tell they live here, my living room is flush with dog toys. I have a trio of KONG addicts living here. We have the red one and the super hard black one. KONG tire, KONG frisbee, you name it. And they laaaaaaaaaaaaast forever. Unlike tennis balls, tugs, plushies, rawhides, and dog beds which all get shredded in no time.

Sometimes I will shove broken biscuit bits into one but usually they just play with it by themselves without foodstuff.
