Yeah I thought myself they would not be very good really, the more additives and water also means the more elimination from your pup!

currently on Purina One, seems to be alright but I was wondering if I could give him something better or if it doesnt matter and I should just get a cheaper food for him

I was told that Purina has very low nutrition levels one being lower than the minimum advised by the FDA

Eukanuba is one of the better foods :) ,but that still has some additives in it and filler's to bulk the food up which are not needed, the protein is also quite high which can make some dogs hyper

On Dog chat a member was feeding her Puppy Eukanuba, she was having a similar problem the pup was 1kg and being given 85g per day, pooing about 5 times a day, when she changed to a food with no fillers, the dog calmed down and stopped pooing so much with the new food, which was more expensive but she had to feed less than half what she was feeding of the Eukanuba ,as there was no filler's or things in the new food used to bulk it up,although the new food was a little more expensive it lasts her a lot longer so it works out cheaper in the long run

It's very expensive over here as more, more expensive than the premium Kibble that has no added fillers or additives
