I get the bulk bags of kibble and change the brand each time so I spend between $90 - $110AUS for about 15kg which normally lasts us about 2-3 months... I also buy a can of food or minced meat from the butches to mix it up a bit or cook some plain pasta or rice...

I also spend quiet a bit on treats like denta sticks (they get one every morning) and shmackos and liver treats for obedience school.... And Ilike to keep a stock of pics ears or treats that take a long time to eat for when I have people over and they wont settle... they usually work well..

I spend about £3 a week, also get some stuff from Mac Meats, Travis what do you get from there, the hearts are my dogs fav, they are huge and can get a few meals out of each one, but they are a sod to slice, liver and kidney are good.

Travis loves the turkey drumbstick's,which are usually buy 1 bag get another free,I also get 8 frozen breasts of lamb for £1.99,I also get chicken cacass's there which they give to me free of charge and there is loads of meat on them,if your having trouble slicing what you buy,ask them to slice it for you, they are really helpful,I have also started buying their pet mince which is chicken and lamb minced with bone for Ruby as she only has 22 teeth missing and cannot crunch bones, also as a top up I usually get the chicken legs,I have also bought tongue from there when it was on offer Travis loved it

Our kibble prices have gone up steeply in the last year. We used to only pay about $26USD ($20-22 on sale/discounted, etc.) for a 37.5lb (I think that's about 17kg?) bag of Pro Plan Chicken & Rice and about $32USD (never on sale unfortunately, but discounted for bulk buy would get us a price of about $28-30) for the same size bag of Pro Plan Performance. Now, we're paying about $31-32 ($25-26 on sale) for the regular Chicken & Rice and $36 for Performance. Unfortunately, it's not just one or two brands that have risen in price either. I've seen the price hike across the board with all dog food here. I suspect that it's the price of Corn that's driven the prices higher. There is only ever so much corn produced every year and with more and more of it being in demand to be used as fuel (wether it be for cars or home heating), the price has skyrocketed. I hope others in other countries don't have to deal with that kind of economic pressure. It makes me a little apprehensive to see how much the prices will rise next year. If they get much higher, I may have to consider a food switch- something I really don't want to do.

Thanks Travis never thought to ask them to slice it up, not seen the chicken carcasses yet, do you know which day they are usually out? I knoe when I bought pig trotters from them at the time they only had a few left they told me to come on a monday or tuesaday as there are more there then as that when they cut the pigs up ugh, so will have to make another trip down when my freezer has enough room.

I always give them a ring before I leave, and if I cannot make it that day I ask them to keep me a bag full, which is black bag size :) ,I usually get the carcass's on a Monday,I called over there yesterday ,thank goodness I have a good bit in my freezer, there were no chicken portions of any kind,no lamb,no turkey,no trotter's,what a wasted trip, will go again next Monday but will ring them before I leave

Oh boy, lol. Well, when all 3 are eating what I would really like them to be on (which is raw) it usually costs us about $150 for 3 weeks. Right now the meat prices are so high we're having to pay almost double that, so the younger two dogs are on Diamond Premium Adult until the prices on raw go down and Rhea is on raw since she cannot tolerate kibble at all. We pay about $25 for a 50 lb bag for the Diamond which lasts about 2 weeks for Achilles and Libby.

I spend approx £20 a month, Em has been having some skin problems so have put her on jwb hypo-allergentic dry-food, she's been on it 3 months now and things are improving. She was on Bakers but after reading info on another forum decided to change. We did try a science plan one from the vet a while back but she wouldn't touch it!

When she was a pup we attended puppy socialisation classes at our vets and he recommended feeding raw, i tried it for about 2 weeks but it cost me a fortune getting the meat from the supermarket and i couldn't stomach her eating it indoors so fed her outside.
