Most of our vets in England also clip nails for free (thats cool cos you don't get many things free) :dogrun:

pepsi will pretend you are killing her if we try to clip her nails, but when the groomer does it she doesn't seem to care, i guess after you have been washed clipped and had a bow put in your hair your nails are no big thing.

When our daycare dogs' nails get so long that they could get ripped, or they start to scratch us badly, we cut them. We do have one dog who is a hemophiliac (bleeder), and we use a Dremmel tool on her.
Whoever said money can't buy happiness never got a puppy.

I'd like one of those Dremmel tools, one of the few grooming tools I don't have... who knows, maybe Santa will bring it for me this year ;)

We were having a problem doing Scooters. So I picked him up the peticure and he loves it. Only time he has been good all week. Go figure.

Super, your avatar is a little scary. Ha! I bought the PediPaws. My dog was okay with the noise, but as soon as it touched her claw, she freaked. I got the front ones done, sort of, but back ones ? No way on earth. So I am still using the old scissor-type cutters and then filing. Which is a true pain. If someone could invent something that all dogs loved in the way of claw clipping, they'd be rich!!!!

Nail clippers are the essential tools for dog nail grooming, working for both professional and home use. The size is very useful for the Nail clippers so we have to consider it.Clippers cut and grinders smooth off edges.Dog nail grooming is complex and it usually requires a combination of tools for maximum of efficiency. For the long nails can be very painful for animals, particularly when they live indoors. If you can hear the dog's nails clicking against the floor, then, you should cut them right away.
