Just wondering what you all use,I use chemical free natural on Travis as when the vet has put Frontline and Stronghold on Travis in the past ,he had severe hairloss

I use Frontline on my dogs, but the last time Doug developed a bald patch near his tail. It cleared up quite quickly but as it was'nt near the place of administration I did'nt connect it with Frontline, but now you've made me think!!

Travis has bad allergies,so I try not to put any chemicals on or in him,It's only through joining forums like this that I learnt you can treat your dogs without chemicals :)

What can I use instead of Frontline?i.e. with no chemicals. Same question about worming. Jack always has an upset tummy/off his food the day after he has Drontal.

For fleas I use a product by Doreen Paige she has a website but I cannot do links, her tel no is 01363 877391,if you do a search you will find her web page, the flea treatment is £12 for 250ml,1 bottle lasts me about 10 months just a quick spray once a week it smells lovely and everyone I know who uses it doesn't get any problems with fleas :)

For worming have a look at LAND OF HOLISTIC PETS again I cannot do the link, but if you do a google search you will find it,it comes in a bottle and you add it to your dogs food for a couple of days,it's really gentle on their stomach,it lasts ages to again works out cheaper than chemical wormer's,if you give them a ring ask to speak to Mudgie and tell her that you have spoken to Travis about their products, she will help you however she can :)

Did you have to get the flea control people out to get rid of them from your bed,or did you manage to clear them yourself

Yes hunni, either sunflower or Pumpkin seeds,I get something Travis really loves his favourite is left over Lamb dinner,I use a mug full for Travis as he is so heavy, but for Herbie a handfull in his fav food would be enough, and thats it,the seeds scour the gut of anything that shouldn't be there, and then the following day either really stinky blue veined cheese, just a couple of small pieces or a prebiotic drink something like Yakult or actimel, which will help multiply the good bacteria in the gut,any more help needed just ask,no chemicals go into Travis at all and he is in fab condition, before I started feeding raw and doing everything chemical free I had my own seat in the vet's,I havent been to the vets since Travis was 10 months when I changed over to natural feeding and chemical free treatments for him

It's only what I have learnt from 2 special people from another forum,Since I have joined their forum when Travis was 10 months we haven't had to visit the vet once, and a dog who was very thin and nearly bald is now a 38kg gorgeous coated dog
